Scholarship Benefits
The FBM Scholarship provides significant financial relief to help you focus entirely on your studies:
- Secondary School Students: A maximum of ₦350,000 per annum for each selected student.
- University Students: A maximum of ₦650,000 per annum for each selected student.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Opekete Foundation Scholarship, prospective beneficiaries must meet the following criteria:
General Requirements:
- Must be a female Nigerian Citizen.
- Must have gained admission into, or currently be enrolled in, a public university or federal/government-owned Senior Secondary School at the time of application.
- Must be intending to study, or currently studying, Teaching, Nursing, or a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) course at the university level.
Academic Qualifications:
- For Secondary School Applicants: A minimum of 5 Distinctions (A or B) in English, Mathematics, and any other 3 major subjects in Junior WAEC.
- For University Applicants: A minimum of 5 Distinctions (A1 – B3) in English, Mathematics, and any other 3 major subjects in WAEC / NECO obtained in one sitting. Applicants must also meet the required JAMB cut-off score for their chosen course and institution.
